HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT

Grants are given by the Waxahachie Foundation to charitable organizations in Waxahachie and the Waxahachie area.  Applications for grants are first considered by the Grants Committee.

You can download the application form here. The requesting organization must give basic background information as to its name, mailing address, whether it is a 501 (c) (3) or other qualified charity, other sources of income and the purpose of the requested funds. The requesting organization’s most recent fiscal year end statement of income and expenses must be provided. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, the Waxahachie Foundation will provide grants totaling only $5,000 per year to a qualifying organization.

Deadline Dates for Grant Application

The Grants Committee meets quarterly in January, April, July and October. Grant application deadlines for 2020 may be sent via email to eliztull@hotmail.com or via email to Waxahachie Foundation, P.O. Box 3251, Waxahachie, TX 75168. All applications must be received by 5:00 pm on the due date.

The Committee considers all applications and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors which meets quarterly. A final decision as to each specific application is made by the Board.

Applicants will be notified shortly after the Board meeting.
