Welcome

From children to seniors, Waxahachie Foundation helps thousands in our community every year through grants to non-profit organizations benefiting the citizens of Waxahachie. These grants are possible because of the generous donations of our community members.

The Waxahachie Foundation originated in 1968 with an initial capital of $9,900. This was composed of two memorial gifts, one of real estate given by Mr. R.F. Chapman and the other was corporate stock, contributed by Mr. Edwin L. Harding.

Grants from the Waxahachie Foundation have ranged from feeding the hungry to supporting the arts. The Foundation seeks to help every age group from children to seniors. Currently, the Foundation has helped over 100 different worthy organizations since its inception.

The Foundation is operated and controlled by a Board of Directors who serve without financial compensation. Each of the 12 trustees is elected to a three-year term.
